Deep Ocean is the name I chose to capture the beauty of this leather. The colour makes me think of coves and inlets of the Pacific Ocean. Water seen below the shade of big trees, or still water on dark days with unknown depth. I see it as green, but there is a blue within it as well. I have attempted to capture it in natural light - please see instagram for videos and more photos! The white background photos should be viewed for details, not colour. I have included the closest paint swatches to give the truest sense of this colour, via BEHR paints at Home Depot xo!
#1947 is a sweet fanny pack in a great size - not too small, not too big. It has a rear zipper pocket too! And a heavyweight harness leather belt, with a solid brass buckle. The brass zippers are industrial quality.
This design has quite a few pattern pieces; it's more technical production work than some of my classic minimal styles. Labour-intensive, yes. Tough, durable, beautiful and functional too. I hope you love it xo

A note on leather: leather gets better with age! Black leather will change more in hand (feel) while lighter coloured leather will take on more visual character - similar to a beautiful pair of brown leather boots or a favourite brown leather belt. Leather is a natural product and therefore hide colour variations, signs of wear and tear, and colour changes from daily use are normal. The character of leather will evolve over time: irregularities, patina, and changes to texture should be considered natural parts of the evolution of your leather object. Irregularities should not be considered faults, but rather part of the charm of the natural beauty of leather.
